Translating the German word "Erlebnis" or the Afrikaans word "Belewenis" to the English language merely results in the word "EXPERIENCE".  But clearly there is a deeper & richer understanding of the concept of Customer Experience.


MEANING: To capture the "Erlebnis" of the concept of Experience we refer to a specific, often intense, personal experience. It denotes a moment or event that is particularly significant, impactful, or memorable.

CONTEXT: To describe Customer Experience as events that leave a strong impression or have a profound emotional effect on an individual.

EXAMPLE: To change every customer engagement to a Customer Experience that is an impactful and memorable experience.
